I knew that it was the start of my good fortune when my friends and I were seated next to Prince Harry’s table at Boujis, the exclusive night club in South Kensington. That was just the beginning of my luck.
The next day, I won an unlimited shopping spree at the Matthew Williamson boutique at Bicester Village. I thought about his list of celebrity clients and wondered to myself, “If it is good enough for them, why not me?” I entered the boutique and discovered a host of beautiful dresses, ranging from ‘beach casual’ to ‘night out in town’ attire. His tribute to colours and silk brings a hint of India to his designs. My sources tell me that the dress, worn by a celebrity client, is available for a limited time only (Pictured on right, one-shouldered lame silk gown on left mannequin £1347 from £2695).
Then, I passed Ms Liz Hurley on my way to lunch at Villandry, the new resturant at Bicester Village. No Hugh Grant or Austin Powers in her entourage, but no intimidating bodyguards either. If my luck didn’t strike out, I could possibly be seated next to her table.
The disco balls in the boutique and at Boujis resonated-almost a bit too much-with my carefree nature. I was happily seated, and let my imagination go this fabulous morning.
The Matthew Williamson Shopping Spree was an April Fools’ exercise on Jasmine.
